About brianDJ BRIAN BECK (Atlanta, GA.) Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico; DJ Brian Beck has called Atlanta, Georgia his home for many years. Having a deep abiding passion for music, he eventually became inspired to channel his love of music towards becoming a DJ. Brian recalls that he initially felt inspired to pursue his DJ aspirations after experiencing the formidable energy created by legendary Atlanta Radio DJ Yvonne Monet. He remembers feeling mesmerized by the intoxicating euphoria created on the dance floor by Yvonne's talent and passion for music. He said that her performances left him in a state of amazement. After several years Brian left a career in marketing and human resources to follow his bliss and pursue music full time. Brian's career began in 2001 when he was asked to cover for the regular DJ at the Atlanta club known as Blake's By the Park. This opportunity opened the door to an eventual resident position with the club. In 2003, Brian became the Friday night resident DJ for Atlanta's top dance club Blu; presenting him with the opportunity to open for and spin with superstar DJS Victor Calderone, Chris Cox, David Knapp, Billy Carroll, and Tracy Young. Through his relationships with these top DJs, Brian accepted invitations to spin at top dance clubs across the United States including Pavilion in Fire Island, Pure in Philadelphia, and Splash in New York. In addition to his rapid rise in recognition on the national club scene, he was also becoming a highly pursued talent for many of the premier party events around the country. Some of his more notable performances include spinning major events at Hotlanta 2003, Memorial Day Weekend Beach Party in Pensacola, The Scarlet Ball, Avalanche 2004, AIDS Walk Atlanta 2005, Atlanta Pride 2005 and 2006 with DJ Tracy Young. He currently resides as the resident DJ at The Heretic in Atlanta where he routinely packs the house with his spellbinding performances. Having mentored under DJs Billy Carroll and Tracy Young; Brian understands that music is a very significant and expressive form of communication. Music has the wonderful capacity to bring people together. With each set of music that Brian delivers from beginning to end, he strives to move and excite club goers by transporting them on a musical journey. It is his desire that anyone listening to his music might experience the same mesmerizing feeling that inspired him many years ago. Brian's unwavering passion for music and his keen ability to connect with his audience is reflected in his compelling combinations of circuit tribal beats and expressive vocals. His talents and instincts as an artist and entertainer are formidable. He is a master at understanding and creating musical synergy that can captivate, arouse, and liberate the senses. It is no wonder that Brian is regarded as Atlanta's Premier DJ and crowd favorite. You can find Brian and experience for yourself the wonderfully intoxicating magic his music can create each Saturday Evening at The Heretic in Atlanta, Georgia. Fans of this Show
